UPS is seeking reliable, energetic, and safety-minded Delivery Drivers to join our local route operations. • Position: Delivery Driver / Courier (Local & Residential Routes)

Shifts Available:

What You’ll Do:

• Inspection & Organization: Perform a rapid vehicle check before your trip begins and organize packages in your assigned UPS delivery truck in a manner that ensures you have the optimal delivery route.
• Local Navigation: Drive the company’s vehicles safely within local neighborhoods and business areas via GPS navigation technology.
• Delivery of Parcels: Deliver parcels, letters, and other items directly into the hands of customers as well as scan for digital signatures.
• Scanning and Logging Deliveries: Scan barcode numbers on delivery items as soon as they are delivered using the company’s digital scanning equipment.
• Safe Driving: Ensure that all traffic laws are adhered to at all times by following UPS defensive driving techniques.

Requirements:

• Minimum age requirement: 21+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent not needed for many positions at this company.
• Always on time, reliable, and able to walk/stand for hours.
• Physically able to carry up to 60 pounds and endure all sorts of weather (as you will go outside briefly to load vehicles).
